Black Myth: Zhong Kui Release Date and Platforms

No final release date is confirmed yet. The official project material positions Black Myth: Zhong Kui as an in-development single-player action RPG for PC and major console platforms, but it does not publish a launch day or a firm release window.

Current platform status

The safest summary is:

“Planned” is deliberately different from “available.” A gameplay presentation can show a target platform direction without proving that a store listing, preload or launch build exists.

Last evidence check: August 22, 2026. A new date should change this page only when it appears in a Game Science announcement or a first-party platform store record that clearly belongs to Zhong Kui rather than Black Myth: Wukong.

How to read future updates

Trust a date when it appears on an official Game Science or platform store announcement. Be cautious with:

• retailer pages that invent a placeholder date;
• countdown sites with no primary source;
• screenshots that do not show the announcement date;
• articles that turn “coming to consoles” into a specific console launch promise.

When a real announcement appears, capture the publisher, announcement date, named platforms, whether the date is global or regional, and whether it describes release, preorder or only a wishlist page. Those states should never be collapsed into “available now.”
